This free hosting server is very bad with a lot of downtime. Honestly, it has very slow, poor performance and is unreliable. Their official forum has been unavailable for at least 4 months, and customer support now has a confusing ticket system. That is not good. In the first 2-3 months everything was good in general, with only some minor problems, but now the problems are getting bigger and bigger. For the past 3 months my website had only 38% uptime (which they claim is due to DDoS attacks).

When you obtain a certain amount of visits, they will eliminate your free webspace account and they will redirect your URLs to a page full of ads that refreshes every few seconds to make tons of ad impressions. I say this from personal experience. If you want to, look up in google for ifastnet, and you will find many subdomains of ifastnet in which visits to them do the same thing. It takes much work to to get a webpage indexed in search engines and to obtain web traffic to your pages, but then this host (and the other Ifastnet and Byethost freehost clones) takes advantage of all that. This host is a FRAUD. Do not use it if you intend to get website traffic to your subdomain.

The site is too good to offer so much free web space and no down time (as I have experienced), but the system has now failed to log me in -- it is showing some internal server error on the website, and authentication failed on ftp. After reading the reviews, I now get that this is a normal problem with the server and would be resolved soon, but I would also like to comment on the support system. I sent mails to the administrator but have not recieved a reply. The service is good if it resumes in time, else it is no use having a web space to which I can not update or even delete my site.

It has a very good control panel that is easy to use. The webpage loading speeds are decent. It is good, completely free webhosting, and the MySQL is a plus. Users receive a free subdomain automatically (like user-name.1majorhost.com). They have installers for the following scripts: 4images, wikiwig, Joomla, Xoops, cutenews, Nucleus, bBlog, Mambo, UseBB, MyLittleForum, osCommerce, SMF, MyBB, coppermine, gallery, tikiwiki, wordpress, phpBB2, ZenCart, and sBlog. Overall this webhost allows you a lot of freedom with little drawbacks. Amazing. I would recommend it to friends.

After having used your free web hosting service for over two months, I find it to be nothing short of excellent. In addition to being fast, reliable and user-friendly, it gives me an opportunity to demo my website in real time to the real world, and so I would definitely recommend it. The one negative aspect that I can think of at the moment is that there is not much detailed information reagarding the scope of your free hosting service available to users outside of the forums. For instance I am not sure if I can add a sub-domain with the free account that I have. Other than that, I just love the phpnet service and hope I can continue to have it available to me so that I can graduate on to more advanced web sites such as hosting an open source commerce max site next. I went to this host, and I was amazed how good it seemed to be at first, but I give it a 3 rating because they deleted my forum after I set everything up! I did not get an email, and I can not login into cpanel anymore. I would say do not use that site for hosting forums!

Domaindlx is good! It serves my site well. However, at this time I can not find their site! It is lost! I do not know if it is being developed and under construction right now. Their home page seems to be parked at the Dotster domain registrar. I can not make any changes for my free web site because of this! But the good news is, my web site is still up and running. [Their homepage is functional again (March 15).]
