Outstanding free webspace find for me! I could not get my site indexed with Google because I was using my free web space provided by my ISP. It was suggested in a webmaster forum that I find another domain host that the google robots would validate as a valid domain server. I just joined, but I know that within a short time, my domain name will be indexed at Google and many other search engines. This server will suit my needs perfectly. And if I choose to study webmaster skills to reach another level of expertise, I can always upgrade to a pay-package that is reasonable. Kudos, AtSpace.com!

It is alright, but you have to gain points by time-consuming forumposting, so if you want a free domain name you have to post 500 times a year, and believe me, that is a lot of posting!

I love this free filehosting site. It is helping me keep track of my music and also helps me keep it copyrighted until I get it fully copyrighted from the government.

To be honest, I have only been with them for a little while, and as of yet I have no complaints. I would reccomend this site the way it operates, and the special features it has just make it all the more fun. I have only been on it two days, and I keep wanting to come back and post more to their forums. It has good speed and a nice help forum. I love their forums and the system they have up for earning points towards website hosting. It is an awesome setup. I am really hyped about it. The server is reliable and speedy. I would greatly reccomend it.

My website is vanished. They ELIMINATED it WITHOUT warning! Although it was good for some months, my site is not working anymore. Not reccomended except maybe for very short-term uses, such as PHP script development and testing.

I moved to byethost around three months ago because the freehost I was on just did not give me the features I wanted. The main reason I moved to byethost is that it allowed me to upload much larger files than I had previously been able to on other free hostings, and it would allow me to use a function in a htaccess file to create a custom 404 error page, which other freehosts only offered to paying customers. I have never had any problem with the speed of the service or the reliability. I can only remember once when I could not access my website. The only feature I could wish for that it does not currently allow is sending mail, though having said this, I have not come accross another free webhost with as many features as byethost that would allow it. I would definately recommend it to someone with similar webmaster needs to me.

I like this host, particularly because they do not force you to use advertisements on your free sites. Another major advantage is that the Control Panel is very clear. A disadvantage is that it does not show PHP error messages, so when there is a syntax error in your PHP code you have to search for it yourself (I have solved this by using another host to debug the code). Another small disadvantage is that the FTP server is often overloaded.

Good free web space service that has really no ads forced, and has good support, Ftp accounts, and more. I have been using the service for a year, and I must say that 50 webs is the best free host I have tried.

Everything runs well for the first 2 weeks, but after that your websites will disappear from the world, you can not login, and they replace your content with a full page of ads! I feel sorry for the advertisers paying for banner impressions on these spammy pages, as not only is is visitor already outraged at the junk that has replaced the content they came to see, but often the exact same banner ad is displayed about 12 times on the same page, and then refreshes every few seconds to display more again and again and again as long as the webpage is not clicked away, thus cheating not only the website creator that worked to get web traffic, but even the advertisers, who falsely assume their paid banner impression is prominently placed on a real webpage with content.
